Connect, a series of hand printed screen prints on paper to collages, Katya experimented with techniques, materials and how the screen prints can be visualised, she researched weavers and designers Anni and Josef Albers who taught, studied and made work at the Bauhaus School. Inspired by the hard-edge patterns and geometric textiles, Katya continued to explore the work and created designs of repeated patterns of the screen prints in various layouts on Adobe Photoshop and painted the final designs on cotton and linen canvas.
